Student writing is sensitive. Here's how we handle it.
Antoinette is built around a simple principle: student data should be handled with at least as much care as the classroom itself.
Data residency. EU users’ data is stored in Frankfurt, Germany. US users’ data is stored in Oregon, USA. Data is not transferred between regions.
Encryption. All traffic to Antoinette is encrypted in transit. Your account, submission, and grading data is stored in databases encrypted at rest.
Access controls. Access to student data is restricted to what’s needed to operate the service, and every access path is scoped to a school’s own data.
Vendor oversight. Where we rely on third-party infrastructure providers, we hold them to data processing agreements consistent with our own commitments.
